Vaggie sees Angel as annoying, idiotic and childish and is often very frustrated of him. Angel on the other hand considers Vaggie as an ally only because of her friendship with Charlie. Vaggie and Angel share quite a few scenes where Vaggie explains Alastor’s story to Angel. Overtime when Sir Pentious joins the hotel, Angel Dust started to get jealous that Charlie is taking attention to him, as he actually likes getting attention from her, even supporting him no matter what he did. Angel also has a violent side to him as he has sometimes started or gotten into fights with either his fists or guns, and he relishes in fighting.

CherriDust is a popular friendship within the fandom, mainly for Angel trusting Cherri so much and for their relationship shown in the ADDICT music video. Calling Lute pathetic for not having any concept of mercy, Vaggie chose to spare her life knowing it would kill her on the inside that she was beaten and then spared by “the failure”. Vaggie is well aware of Alastor’s reputation and is immediately suspicious of his claims to want to help run the Happy Hotel. She is determined not to let him hurt anyone involved with the hotel, and warns Charlie to never make a deal with him.

Angel inadvertently causes Niffty to sob, so he asks if she would like “to play with the kitty”, referring to Husk. Afterwards, Cherri tells Angel he doesn’t have to spend his off hours working on himself, but Angel soon spots Valentino, requesting to leave, only to realize Niffty is not there. Niffty is spotted drunkenly running around the bar, so Angel rushes behind her, only to realize she is running towards Valentino. When Valentino messes with Niffty, this enrages Angel, so he stands up and tells Val to fuck off, openly disrespecting the Overlord in from of the club. Angered by this public embarrassment, he slaps Angel, so Husk angrily growls at Val, but Angel reassures him that it’s fine. Husk congratulates him for standing up for himself, and they decide return to the hotel, with Niffty stealing fur from Valentino for her collection, causing pain for and freaking out Valentino.

Angel has become more mature since the takeover when it comes to planning missions or going on one. However, his old personality is still intact and shines through when the gang is down, trying to lift their spirits a little to lighten up any dreary moods. He is very playful and funny towards everyone, and he likes to flirt with anyone he sees. Angel is also egocentric, as he thinks other demons in Hell are ugly freaks and his body is flawless.
Cherri seems to be one of the few people Angel trusts since he admits to her that he’s been missing and been “sort of” clean for two weeks due to staying at the Hazbin Hotel. While Angel is confirmed to have a father, it is unknown what sort of relationship the two have outside of being blood related. After Sir Pentious’s blimp is destroyed at the pilot’s end, and the group begins heading back inside, Angel turns to blow Husk a kiss with a wink. In “Hello Rosie!”, Angel and the rest of the hotel gang faithfully agreed to stay at the hotel to protect it, making Charlie and Vaggie happy.
In the Episode “Welcome to Heaven”, Cherri invites Angel and Husk along with Niffty and Sir Pentious to a bar. During this scene, Cherri tries to motivate Angel to take drugs as a way to relieve stress, and Husk butts in to remind Angel it’d destroy his progress. Husk admits that Angel succumbing to drugs would really disappoint him. Angel declines the offer, making Husk smile, but later starts heavily drinking, something Husk disapproves of. Later, they drink in a more controlled way, but Niffty is already drunk. Angel decides to grab Niffty’s drink and gives it to Husk, and even holds her and puts her in head.
As punishment, the pimp ordered him to offer himself on the street until he earned enough to make up for it. In addition to his clothing, it has some noticeable differences – his blazer was instead striped in two shades of light pink, and the lapels were colored neon-fuchsia and angel dust relationships fandom formed a heart-shape.
